4. Chinese Philospophies Comparison
Mohism and Legalism are the most different of all the philosophies and have very different views of how a state should be governed. According to Mohism, people are judged by what they think and what they do rather than just being judged by their actions. Mohism is more of a peacufl way to govern than the straight to the point approach that Legalism takes. Legalism is more of a harsh way to rule and asks for a ruler that will lead the state into wars and punish the people. Also according to Legalism, the state becomes stronger if the people were thought of as bad and not trustworthy rather than vice-versa. Legalism calls for harsh rule and the ruler will not try to convince anyone, wheares Mohism calls for universal love and thinks of the people as trustworthy.

ReplyDeletei think that you have a strong topic sentence but paragraphs would be better for the structure of the blog. Also, I think that your ideas are very true to the packet
First of all, I would not use the word most in your topic sentence, because it is very extreme. Or, if you believe that, then you need to prove that in your paragraph, which is a whole lot more work than nessisary :-)Also, you don't use any quotes? Where, oh where are the quotes? You clearly illustrate the difference between the two ideaologies, but you don't give any evidence.
ReplyDeleteJust work on the quotes :-)
